Investigation Report of the Pinellas County Emergency 9-1-1 Pilot Study.
The original intention of this study was to measure the effectiveness of eliminating the high volume of accidental cell phone calls to our nations 9-1-1 centers. The following 52 page report documents Pinellas County's intentional abuse, corruption and the debilitation of this pilot study. Documentation clearly shows that Pinellas County is guilty of putting "stops" on every significant area of the Button Guard study/promotion, and especially after the effectiveness of accidental cell call reduction to their 9-1-1 center reached approx. 20% in only 6 to 8 weeks. Please bear in mind that this study was performed with public as well as SACC (Stop Accidental Call) funds.
The intense corruption of this 9-1-1 cell phone guard study has severely impaired having a successful outcome which in turn has hindered others to date, including 9-1-1 centers throughout the U.S. as well as Canada and New Zealand.
The following 52 Page fully documented Report was sent by certified mail to Pinellas County Emergency Communications 9-1-1 on June 27, 2005 totaling 22 recipients which included a few others relevant to this study. Pinellas was asked to respond within 30 days, to date, Jan 23, 2006, we have not received a single response from Pinellas County, with exception of an e-mail from a Pinellas County Attorney directed to someone else and copying SACC simply quoting "SACC is trying to embarrass us".
As was mentioned in this report, if SACC did not receive response to this documented report within 30 days, it would be made available for all to view on this website. SACC has given Pinellas County nearly 6 months (approx. 180 days) additional time in which to respond and still have no response from any of the report addressees.
